Definitions
Ergonomics (or human factors) is 'the scientific discipline that applies theory, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.' International Ergonomics Association (IEA). Read more
Usability is defined as 'the extent to which a product can be used by specified users to achieve specified goals with 'effectiveness', 'efficiency', and 'satisfaction' in a specified context of use.' ISO 9241-11. Read more
